    My family loved this place. We had a family reunion with my 12 family members (2 toddlers included). This was a perfect place for us. Following are a list of pros and cons. These are to help you understand the place so that you can determine if it is right for you.

    Pros:
    * Isolated. After a long, hot day, it was a perfect place to come back to and relax
    * Above-ground swimming pool. Our kids and their babies loved cooling off and playing in the pool.
    * Large. There was so much space, we could do whatever we wanted to do.
    * Many bedrooms. Each of the married couple were able to have a bedroom, which gave them privacy.
    * Nice outdoor patio and deck and a covered patio room.
    * Kitchen was equipped and we could make our own meals.
    * The view was beautiful. It overlooked the Mississippi River.
    * The price was excellent.

    Cons:
    * It is an older place. My son commented that it felt like a Grandma’s house without Grandma there. As such, the furnishings and rooms were older.
    * The basement bedrooms were kind of quirky and a bit musty, as is common in an older home.
    * Only two bathrooms and the basement bathroom had a small shower.

    If you don’t mind the fact that it isn’t the newest, latest place, you’ll love this place.
